we were making things to hard for ourself, i did a simple search for dualshock3 led mod tutorial and found a complete pdf....

Yes, but this design is for the older boards. The new one that I have does not have these points any more.
See how each 'angled' lines there are four solder points? Mine only has three, and they are in different locations. Those boards are generation 3, mine are generation 6. Last edited by geoldr; 11-30-2012 at 01:51 PM. |

I looked at those points again, and they provide no power at all. Not sure what to do next here anymore. Weve tried many combinations.
I found this power, but it is also only little voltage, not enough to get the LED bright enough. Last edited by geoldr; 11-30-2012 at 04:18 PM. |

Yes I edited my post, I tried that one and it provides as much voltage as TP28/29. Not enough to power the LED properly.
