If my game is 4.21 I tend to use the disc and not multiman, to show some legitimacy in their logs when I sign on psn. When it comes to homebrew, I just load multiman to wipe off the logs, before I get on psn.

I'm not sure if this helps me but being a plus member and buying stuff from the store might be what's keeping me from getting banned. Why would they ban someone who is actively purchasing things just to lure him into pirating everything.

As long as you're not disrupting their service and respecting it, you should be fine...for the most part. If you're banned on OFW either it was a mistake with all the confusion if it happend on OFW, I suggest contacting Sony...otherwise here's a list of things they can find to ban you.

on this topic, anyone know an email or contact to get it sorted out? I had a page open a year ago and never got around to it, after just looking at (http://support.us.playstation.com/ap...J3OXljbA%3D%3D) and seeing that I never got an email, I think its time I should hassle them (ps: before anyone asks, this account was on a OFW ps3 and no cheating/hacks/etc)

I recently upgraded to PS3ITA CFW 4.21 v0.9 DEX with Change IDPS All Region 4.21......The only thing I've done is jump on real quick and download updated 2K13 rosters. Everything seems ok so far. Won't be signing on to actually play any games, just grab roster updates and stuff and then get right off.

I just got banned last Sunday. Everything was fine in the morning but when I turned on my PS3 later in the afternoon, there was this message - "Access to Sony Network Entertainment by this account has been banned or temporarily suspended. (8002A31)"

I later checked my email and got this from Playstation Account Administrator:

Notice:Unauthorized or pirated software has been detected on your PlayStation®3 system. This use has violated the terms of both the "System Software License Agreement for the PlayStation®3 System" and the "Terms of Services and User Agreement" for the PlayStation®Network/Sony Network Services and its Community Code of Conduct provisions. As a result, your Sony Entertainment Network account has been permanently banned and access to PlayStation®Network and Sony Entertainment Network services through your PlayStation ®3 system has been terminated permanently.

My PS3 is on Rogero CFW4.30 v2.03 with the latest multiMAN. I always had it to sign in automatically. This had been my setup ever since the first jailbreak came out. But I never had a copy of COD:BO2 and never had played it. I would only go look at some games in PSN Store and rarely downloaded from it. I never had a copy of any game before its release date. Never did play online gaming but I would go online for some games to get the high scores.

I used Crackle, a free movie and video service, a lot. I guess this might be how they got me.

So now I am account permanently banned. I haven't read much yet on nything about unbanning my console. I would probably do it when I get my PC fixed because all game backups ate stored there and I would like to reformat my PS3 when I downgrade it and then unban it.

So u use mm when already online? I think that is the problem, u can try fackpsn 1.1 to get back online it's spoof ur mac adres and ps3 id but i don't know it will work for u.

Download fackpsn v1.1.exe,
when on cfw 4.30 u don't need to change ur CA27 just Set the PS3′s PRIMARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address and SECONDARY DNS to 8.8.8.8,
fill in ur standard gateway adress,
don't test connection.
Start ****Psn-v1.1.exe
Enjoy with PSN hopefully for u.

unban ur ps3 like me, turn ur 4.21 cex into a 4.21 dex, voila, psn is back again, just create a new account!
