New Laser arrived yesterday, installed, reassembled, everything is working fine again.

did you changed only the laser or the drive?

Hi,
just bought the laser alone, one think to remember,
the white thing in the Picture, surrounded by the Red square,
was not on the new Laser, lucky me, i didn't throw away the
old Laser already, so i could disassemble that as well.

Everything is working fine now, i bought a "new" Laser, not a
refurbished one. I hope it lasts a few years (as the old, original one did)
