Thanks. Your awesome. I the lights finally showed up.

However, I have another issue now. The e3 flasher wont take the update. The blue lights don't light up. I have the first and second switch down and the rest of them in up position.

Do you know what I might be doing wrong here ?\

thanks but i got it to work it was me and that other guy that used those files you posted and manged to get the 4.30cfw to dualboot yesterday cheers for that link we wouldent been able to do it with out that

First, you don't want to update to Rogero v1.00. It is one of the first versions they released and is buggy.

Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7 is what you downgrade to in Chapter 2 Part 1. If you continue with the guide, once you are on OFW 3.55, you can install Rogero CEX-4.30 v2.0.

I am assuming you are following this guide. Otherwise, why would you ask here

Yes I'm following this guide. I just wanted to know if I need to install 3.55 before 4.30 in last step. Thank you for your answer and I will install v2.

I'm stuck at Chapter 2 on this step:

Place the Lv2diag.self and Rogero_V3.7_PS3UPDAT.PUP from the step 1 folder onto a USB Flash drive and rename Rogero_V3.7_PS3UPDAT.PUP to PS3UPDAT.PUP. Replace the downgrade dongle with the flash drive in the farthest right USB port. Turn on your PS3. Wait. In about 3-5 minutes your PS3 will shut off.

My USB Stick stops flashing after some seconds and the PS3 Remains on..

I used ps3 break 1.2 for downgrade on the previous step with "PS3Break PSGrade" downgrade firmware.

I see this in log file:

Anyway to get it at a realistic price? I'm sorry I can't justify the cartoonish price they got on it. 100 dollars only to use it ONCE and then throw it away? Ya...I'm pretty sure that's called throwing away money.

Yes. That is what I use. But I think it will only work on phat 1000 model PSPs, on 5.50CFW.
Mine is a 1001 on 5.50 GEN PRO D.

Throw it away? Why would you throw it away?

I paid over $100 for the limited edition. And I have gotten well worth my money. Since I have downgraded about 200 PS3s with it.

Anyway, they sell just flasher for $69.95 at modchipcentral.

You could even sell it after you do your downgrade and get your money back. On eBay used ones sell for more than modchipcentral.
