You just queue all the packages you want to install and proceed, then it will reboot the PS3 and you will be able to install them all off them in one simple pass. It is not a big deal, the way you put it seems so dramatic like you are doing some heavy physical work or something, lol. Anyway, if you find this troublesome or very hard then, sorry but you have some laziness problems xD (no offense intended ).-profane words here-...you lied to yourself. The fact that you don't understand what is in front of your face, its your own problem. SeeYa!

Looks to me like people want to upgrade but don't want to use the new Install Packages method. I'd bet it's mainly because they don't like having to use it to continually keep installing MM every time they want to play a certain backup online. Personally, I like to have my PS3 rebooting itself as little as possible. Probably doesn't do it any harm but there you go.

Previous CFW (Rogero_CEX4.30_V1.00)
Downloaded the latest Rogero Rogero_CEX_4.30_v2.03, updated the system via XMB and pleased to confirm that everything installed perfectly. System information showing CFW as: 4.31 Thanks |

Yeah, should take down that "No Downgrade" part. When you say it like that it sounds like people on OFW don't need to downgrade to 3.55 be able to install this. I almost had a heart attack believing that my phatty could be jailbroke without hardware.

Very pleased with this firmware, installed fine over Rogero 4.30 V2.0 via XMB.
Not so impressed with the "install package" solution. I believe that Rogero never managed to complete what he wanted to do in terms of that and expect he will make a new version in due course. If he doesn't it's no big deal, he's done a lot of work Much respect to the guy. Don't mistake this post for lack of gratitude, just venting
