Hey there. Just back on the scene after a massive hiatus (after the dark days of no CFW in 2011).
So I'm on CF 3.55 (Kmeaw) and I want to upgrade to this version. I've read through the 18 pages here and it seems like all I need to do is run the update through xmb. Is this correct? Do I need to QA flag (whatever that is)? and if I do, can someone point me in the right direction for it......I've looked all over, can't get my head around it.
Another question, I read in a thread that multiman should be update before the CFW installed. is that still the case? I have a mm form about a year ago so it is very old.
Also, what is the situation with cinavia on the 4.30 cfw?

and one more question, sorry for the noob enquiries, I normally am not like this..I've just been out of the game for so long. Is there a point to having a DEX console rather than CEX (that's the retail one, right?)? I'm sorry if this is off topic.

Anyway I could install any Sh*t in my PS3 without made any question because any doubt what I have since I joined the ps3hax I found the answers in threads.

did you read the post? you gotta be on 3.55 to start with to get cfw

This CFW can be installed fine from XMB Update over any OFW3.55/CFW3.55/CFW4.21/CFW4.30.

i envy you guys, my last ps3 at mothers has been updated to 4.21 by older brother just to play f1 2012, rendered it useless and that 500gb hdd inside.

Any reason to or not to go from rebug 421 to this? Everything good now except one 430 update.
Don't use any rebug features, just backups, and recently amazon prime.
