your refering to the U3 type usb sticks (skandisk)
same results with u3 removed (atleast with mine) it still wont work in fsm.

if yours does can you post the type and an image of it to help others that might have one

i would suggest reading the guides through a few times then decide which seems the best for you.

and the fsm dongles in the first post. just find the cheepest as you only use it for 5-10 seconds.

i've downgraded my ps3 succesfully from 3.72......

But after i got out of FSM....my ps3 shows it's on ROGERO 4.11 !!!!

CAN I PLAY BACKUPS NOW....OR... I SHOULD INSTALL CFW 3.55 ???

HOW CAN I MAKE IT CFW 3.55 ??

the rogero 4.11 is actually rogero 3.55 with a spoof so the ps3 thinks its 4.11
if you just do the de-hash part then you will be on 3.55 ofw.

just follow the steps right to the end or you will either get confused or miss something.
every step of the guide is important so follow it to the end.

Ehh, I'll have to read the entire thing first. But if you want, shoot me a PM or get on IRC. I'm always there.

I see some things that can be changed, but it's nothing major. More of a "be careful" thing.

I don't see anything wrong with the Progskeet guides yet.

i will do the dehashing now and wait for the results...what files i should install (the ones inside de-hashing\qa flag way ) because there are two files : reset....and toggle ... .???

by the way, how can i install kemau cfw 3.55 after i dehash my ps3 ??

Use toggle to enable QA flag.

After you dehash, depending on the firmware, it has to be less than or equal to 3.55, just install kmeaw from recovery or the xmb.

install toggle qa
and rogero3.55 is based on kmeaw if you search the forums you will find it or go to tortugacove where he is mod and go through his threads.

i just installed qa toggle...it beeps...now im still on the xmb menu....i run the qa..it beep boot again...did the combo key..it worked ther eis new options...

now what file i should use as firmwaere...the one in the same folder with the qa de-hashing...there is PS3UPDAT.PUP in main folder togrther with the qa toggle,,,and there is another one in the PS3 folder same location ?
