Wouldn't you have to re-rip all your games to get them working with an ODE? Would scene groups do that? Besides that, there won't be any homebrew support. I love playing SNES on my PS3

If someone gives you the code, and you still make a usb stick to use it...thats the same as someone giving you a windows installation dvd and you building a usb stick and installing half of windows on the pc hardrive and half on the usb stick and the usb stick must be plugged in for windows to run. Why not just install windows entirely to the pc? Makes more sense right?

If the code was released for free you wouldn't need to buy a thing and certainly won't need to build a usb stick from scratch ( ). The code could be easily implemented into cfw because all the cobra dongle does is validate the cobra firmware.

Cobra doesn't require the hardware either. Like it has been mentioned a million times before, all the Cobra dongle does is validate the Cobra CFW just like True Blue validates True Blue CFW.

I wonder how they get the drive key from the console and into the ODE device? I know it's easy on hackable consoles, but I can't see how they can do this on 3k consoles.

They cant.

Thus it is another pointless ODDE.

Just fix your drive yourself then, as you'll need to open up your PS3 anyway if you want to install this ODE yourself, it's not gonna be a plug into USB and play, as it says that it'll work on OFW.. Also let's not forget that Sony might even be able to detect the ODE through software and block it anyway, so you've paid a lot of money for a device which might even be blocked...

You sure about that?
If that was the case then it would have been Cobras CFW that got constant updates adding new features.. it was the dongle FW that got the updates though.
It is a big chip with a lot of memory for a dongle, even IF you cracked it and were able to port it to another blank dongle, finding one that could hold all the data would cost you near on the same as the Cobra dongle.

I have said it all along, time trying to crack the dongle would be wasted.. the hacker/dev would be better off learning the hacks and patches themselves and implementing them.
I like my Cobra but thats not being Pro Cobra at all, more so realistic
