How long should I hold select+start?
The patched multiman seems to change its name back is that ok?
I made a new user and acct, but for some reason bo2 freezes up on me during the spinning treyarch logo, can anyone help me with that.. (Do I REALLY need to update from rogero 4.30 1.04 to be compatible with the newest mM?)

EDIT: just updated to v2.03 rogero.. game freezes on loading screen now.. wtf

yes they arent checking for the game title only the game id you will be fine

Just press selct x and mm should exit.

Tried it on Rogero 2.03 now, working fine (from disc, no MM installed)

so let me get this straight : if i ftp black ops 2 to internal hdd and set permissions to read only. then delete original multiman, then install the stealth multiman a few pages back and then load the game and delete the stealth multiman and finally i'll be able to play online?

apparently there is no need to delete the "stealth" multiman.. thats the idea of it being stealthed.

For me, Ill continue to delete it, just in case, takes seconds to install again anyway.

No need to delete stealth version there looking for multimans old bles60806 gameid not the stealthed version. They couldnt ban people for playing the lost via domus game even if it was a terrible game lol

Check external hdd (mines hdd1) via mmos or pc see if you have the following files/folders:

Folder Called "$RecycleBin" Should be on the root of your external

2 x Files ending in *.BG0 & *.BG1 (forgot the name of em) there located "PS3_GAME/" folder of BO2

and PS3INI.ini also located in BO2 PS3_GAME folder


if you have these remove them via pc ( mmos wont delete them properly )

then reset BO2 folder to read only & boot back to mmoson ps3

navigate to your internal and look for the "/tmp/" folder in here you should also see a folder/files that has data related to BO2 (open the *.PNG) if its BO2 logo remove the whole folder

after doing this you should be back online for awhile again!


Ps. This is happening to me ive played a few days then get weird kicks/disconnects and sometimes server errors

remove all the above and its like good as new

ive also found that when the game black screens on a load ect i get alot of hdd activity thats prompted me to investigate and these files are created so its like we are still getting detected....

When that happens, eject blu ray game and put it back in, load the game and that's it!
