so i just got a ps vita. i got the wifi model with the lego batman bundle for $170.00 with a black friday deal and employee discount. i bought a $30 starter pack with a 4gb psv memory card, screen protector, soft pouch case, ear buds, screen cleaning cloth, multi game case, ect. i also bought MGS hd collection. the default system software is 1.61 and both games i currently have require 1.67 OFW. ive synced the PSV with my 60 gb fat launch 3.55 kmeaw PS3. im going to read up on the PSV hacking progress and wait a bit before i update to 1.67. im just getting a feel of this new machine and wanted some advice.

1. is there any hacked content manager assistant for PC that will let me bypass the forced system updates to just be able to manage content on the PSV?

2.is there a way to copy over PS1 games to the PSV from my 3.55 ps3? and if i were to update the PSV to 1.81 and the PS3 to 4.30 CFW would it then be possible?

3.what is the current state of a actual PSV hack or exploit besides VHBL and the eCFW PSP mode hacks? i still have a psp 1001 fat on 6.60 CFW so im not too into PSP mode hacks of the vita but i guess its better than nothing?

4. is there any point in me staying on 1.61 PSV OFW? i kinda wished i bought 2 PSVs and just constantly updated one and left the other on 1.61 and wait till it gets hacked in the future.

5.is there any special features of a ps3 game param.sfo needed for PSV remoteplay or is just editing the .SFOs to enable PSP remoteplay the only option? i ask because id like to at lease use the second analog stick on the PSV with PS3 games via remote play

6. is there any FTP programs for the PSV?

7. any way to watch youtube videos on PSv? i tried on 1.61 and utube says i need a updated flash player

any other helpful tips or advice will be greatly appreciated

im trying to mess with open content manager assistant to avoid the forced firmware updates, but i believesony updated the CMA to patch out the hack, so does anybody have a older version od CMA?

I just got a vita a couple weeks ago too and im kinda upset about how limited the hacks are for this thing... it was kinda one of the main reasons I bought it because the games are to overpriced for a handheld if you ask me... it seems like no one on this forum has a vita thou... and I never end up with a exploit game... do they ever post what games are exploitable or I guersse you just have to get lucky...

Check wololo site often. That's what i do.
Acid_snake along with others are working hard with the CFW among other things.

I have a vita and it's an awesome dust collector, to be honest I have no real need for vhbl as I have two psp's but if I change my mind and due to the bad games it's looking likely then the exploitable game always makes the news here so I'm not sure how you haven't managed to see them.
