You should not brick, Rogero has made it uber safe and has said many times that it can be installed from 3.55 and below OFW or ANY CFW: 3.55/4.21/4.30 via XMB or recovery.

I have the absolute latest mmCM 04.14.03 on my kmeaw 3.55, its fine.

Yes it will install.... why wouldn't it?!

Nothing. They are identical.

Sorry I presumed you had a version of MMCM on your PS3, if you do you can just turn on internet connection and update over wifi (if you have wifi)

Otherwise you should be ok to just download the 04.14.00 BASE or FULL first:

Then just update from within mmCM or install todays 04.14.04 update.
