What about, no MM, no homebrew etc, running from original game disc, anyone got any feedback for that?

I'm happy to try this, could anyone tell me how to remove the latest MM stealth that resides in install pkgs?

Okay, I was banned weeks ago (few days after the release date). Today I could play multiplayer for 3-4 minutes and got the "server not available" error again. This is what I have done.

#1 Updated to Rogero 4.30 v2.03 CFW (few days ago)
#2 Installed the new MM Stealth
#3 Logged into MM FTP and deleted all folders/files etc. in that are explained in this topic and marked the PS3_Game folder Read Only (via MM FTP)
#4 Deleted all Homebrew I got on my PS3
#5 Started MM Stealth, loaded BLOPS II and started it from the Disc Icon
#6 In the game I logged in to PSN (same user as I normally use!)

All above was a no-go, still banned.

#7 Logged out my 'normal' user
#8 Logged into a new user I (created few weeks ago and) have used once to check if I could play online (that time it was also a no-go).
#9 Started BLOPS-II
#10 Logged into PSN

#11 YES! Multiplayer was working again.

After 3-4 minutes I got kicked out again Shall I try the above again with a new user, or did I maybe missed something that should be done in advance also??

Id be interested to know the outcome of said tests (as i dont have a hard copy of the game).

I dunno if this will help you or not as ive no information regarding the new mm(aint updated)

If you used this stealth version stealthMAN-[Greed Corp].pkg

then it should just be a case of to delete or going into games folder finding the title id and deleting

as for the one thats for v2.03 and installed via InstallPKG.pkg or renaming the text file to .self and double clicking in mmos im not to sure i know the content id of installpkg.pkg installs to Games/BLES80688 not sure where the mm resides as ive not used it

Yes, go to mmOS and click the "multiMAN" icon and you'll see where it is installed.

Update...

I just checked (via FTP) all files/folders (on usb and hdd0) that have a changed date of 05/12/12. I also downloaded BLOPS-II (Duplex) again, only the .BG0, .BG1 and .INI files are added to the game directory (on USB). On hdd0 only in /tmp, /vsh and /game are some files changed/added.

I just created a new PSN/SEN user, I will try to login with the new user and check if I can play online and how long it will take before I get banned again.

Since they detect homebrew files is there an easy way to stealth our homebrew?

Also when we delete all homebrew and psn games do we need to delete regular games and patches?

Question, by any chance did any of you have the duplex nuketown dlc installed?

That could of lead to a detection and ban.
