wow some of those pics bring back memories i remember some article somewhere years ago showing the possibilities of nintendo with sony game discs...always felt betrayed lol...but the playstation was def hella cool!

Hello, back in 1995, my uncle bought one to my cousin ( R.I.P), and my cousin invited me to play ps, I had genesis back then, and he used to tell me that it had an eye ( lense) and it plays laser discs, whenever I heard this term, I **** my pants. Anyways, we used to play ridge racer, teken and many others. Also, the first game I played is ridge racer; and to me, 3d blew my mind. At last, I really missed those days.

Very nice article. I've always had a lot of respect for Ken Kutaragi. He was going to drive the PS3 to success but was removed from office and then, all hell breaks loose.
I always wander, how the PS brand would have ended up if Kutaragi was still involved. |

well, at least PART of that came true....they did release an almost identical, albeit smaller and different format, of that Super CD about 5 years later. Anyone else remember mini-disk? It looked identical to that super cd in a case. THose things were awesome!! I still have one around here somewhere.

Does anybody else feel like the games today don't even come close to delivering enjoyment like the ones on PS1?
Or am i just getting old?lol

Thank you for PS2 and PSP, I guess. My two favourite PlayStation consoles, despite owning a PS3 it isn't comparable to PS2 by its large quality catalogue of games.
Bought today a PS2 third party controller for £1.50 from CeX since the one I ordered off of Amazon doesn't seem to be coming. |
