i was told today that you can run ps3 through a proxy and sniff packets using fiddler.to gain psid of any ps3 so then if you had a spare console around you could change mac then spoof psid from the same console with stockers tool.that way we may get back online.if anybody can help or provide a small tut on how to setup fiddler that would be great.many thanks.

I still would like to know how to change my MAC?
I have tried Chaos Air Bringer with CFW3.55Kmeaw and nothing happens, just returns back to XMB, with NO changes.
Do I need to be on another CFW?

I literally forgot to sign out of psn when loading mm a week ago and again this past weekend. I started chatting with friend fir about a hour threw psn on my ps3. While sitting in mm.

My console is not banned, I'm almost wondering if there checking for a legitimate psn account .act file to verify you legit bought something from them or are just pirating all psn related stuff.

Think they would be more concerned getting the Mac address to block it, given when you log into psn you connect to there servers. So they don't need your IP, correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

I have to agree here, I"ve been on psn for a little over than 2 weeks and I haven't tasted the banhammer as of yet. The full story is clearly not being told and it shows.

I'm a ps+ member and I've purchased my fair share of crap on psn... any online game that I own, I chose never to dump on Multiman and play it as I were in OFW. I haven't been kicked off the network for anything to this point.

Who knows maybe we'll eventually be next, but there's obviously something going on. A ban hammer consists of everyone getting caught, no selective or random bans.

Look simply put this is your own stupid fault.

Yes you use your hardware and in turn console the way you see fit but if your on CFW and using something that is not yours to use because you dont pay a subscription for it unless your plus which i am what do you all expect?

Everyone knew this day was coming I mean look at the 360 did this not happen with them.

At the end of the day have CFW and play back ups and home brew but at least STAY OFF PSN it does not belong to you and therefore anything modded should be left away from it. Granted CFW with no mods is ok and things but it is still CFW and this is a risk everyone who is stupid enough to take.

If you get banned its your own stupid fault people have said since day one to avoid using a CFW ps3 online all together but apparently people will never learn. Should do what most people do which is have 2 PS3's 1 CFW and 1 OFW. Just be thankful there is no kill switch to completely **** up the PS3.

Now chances are this only indicates people who pirate something or mod something well I have no sympathy.

All in all your fault your responsibility don't come crawling along complaining that because YOU installed CFW and YOU went online and YOU use mods in games while being signed in AND YOU PLAYED I AM GUESSING BACKUPS ONLINE what did you think would happen.

I play backups with my friends on my list and purchase things from psn. I tend to stay away from games like cod online and games that have huge groups playing at same time. Seems to me those are the ones to stay away from as those appear to be the ones people are having issues with :-/


I've stayed this course since cfw was first installed on my ps3 and only issues ever to plauge me was 1ylod and the standard games needing eboot fixes back when I used 355 cfw
