i have temporarilly fixed ps3 consoles with a heat gun many a time. granted it is not permanent it's a temp fix some have lasted over 12 months some not so long. OP clearly stated he had followed gilksy guide who also if you google it has fixed many a ps3 with a heat gun. so how can you sit there and say it is wrong. it's far from wrong! granted it may not be a permanent or the best solution but for a diy fix it is done. so i make you wrong. it's called a difference of opinion. I never once called anybody an idiot you were the first one with the name calling. And for what reason. beacause your opinion was different to mine. I think you need to smoke the same **** i do and chillax.

I'm not clicking no external links from people i don't trust. If you read through this thread you will clearly see that the OP was trying a cheap diy method well known by gilksy. stick his name in youtube. I am well aware of reballing but it is so expensive for some people. the OP CLEARLY states he is using diy methods. please leave me alone now I'm tired and can't be bothered explaining myself to people that don't wish to listen.

Temp or not its bad advice if your too tight to pay a pro then I suppose you deserve all the trouble you encounter using this method

Your idiotic post I stated was for telling some one posting very good standing facts there wrong and using a very unreliable at best method but you don't see any wrong in this and that your method was correct and his was wrong
Not our clash of opinion

If your opinion is that a heat gun is a better job your entitled to that opinion but surely your not that arrogant to think why people spend thousands on equipment when a heat gun does the job

Please don't use you tube as a source of good info as its full of fake rubbish

I respectfully decline to take part anymore in this topic
