PS3 FAT last gen (3rd) 65nm Temps

ps3 cpu temp is about 75-79 after i reapplied thermal paste it was 80+ before. Any ideas what temps it's suppose to be at?
I feel like this is too high.

according to multiMAN my cpu temp is ~75*C after gaming ~80*C.

ah you have the same board as me!.
Thanks. I ordered the fan mod and gonna try and reapply artic silver 5 after too and i hope it works nicer. I hear people getting like 50-60s so i want to keep this ps3 alive for as long as possible...

Hmm. what makes you think that 70 - 80 is not a fully normal operational temperature?

Also, I left my ps3 on in multiman and it turned completely off after a few hours. not sure if it froze or turned off on it's own but when i turned it back on it had to redo the video setting again.
