Blu-Ray Drive key from NOR backup?

General question...

is it possible to get the Blu-Ray drive key to use with these future drive emulation devices from a NOR backup?
I backed up my Kmeaw 3.55 NOR (PS3 Slim) via multiman and now on OFW 4.31 (don't ask)

sorry to hear you ended up on ofw my friend. instead of buying an ode why not just purchase a flasher and that way you can go up and down the firmwares at will. or better still a dual boot.

I am considering the flasher but not all that happy about opening up my PS3 to the level needed to install a nor clip. Also not that sure its easy to get a genuine E3 flasher. Seems to be lots of fakes going around.

No you don't...
You take off the upper casing to get to the bd, thats it...
HW flasher requires you to strip the ps3 down to the m/b

If its a slim ps3 you dont actually need to remove the heatsink
Testpoints are on the opposite side of it if you solder
If using e3 clip you can place it on the nor flash without removing heatsink.
Like this:

but use a good clamp that will reach instead of tape
