I was wanting to go to rogero 4.21 to rogero 4.30. I followed the downgrade tutorial on torga cove but after i used the 4.25-3.55 pup im stuck. System info says 4.21 (like the guide said it would) and i can install pkgs. The qa flag refuses to work and every time i try to update to rogero 3.55 v3.7a i get a corrupt data error. I cant install any other ofw or cfw including the downgrade pup. Am i stuck in this hybrid firmware? Ps3 slim cech 2001A, kmeaw 3.55 to rogero 4.21 to 4.25-3.55 downgrade pup. I was qa flagged while on kmeaw. I have searched and cannot find an answer. Any and all help is appreciated.

Corrupt data error has any number on it?.
Switch to Kmeaw again and try...let me search something and i will report back.

are you trying in recovery menu?

this is where i kept going wrong you need to install rogero 3.55 v3.7 via xmb and once you have achieved this make sure you are qa flagged and then install rogero 4.3 v2.03 via xmb once again

Ill get the # and im not able to go to any other firmware. I try recovery and in xmb. In recovery it asks for firmware 4.40 or later. Ive managed to get it to where it will copy rogero 3.55 v3.7a to the hdd and restart but then it says corrupt data (using xmb). With kmeaw it does the same thing but when it restarts it says higher firmware installed no need to update. Is it because the qa flag isnt working? Multiman runs fine.

have you tried the 3.55 v3.7 via xmb yes or no?

Jus tried again with rogero 3.55 v3.7a using xmb and got to the point of restart and its saying i have the latest firmware no need to update.

Jus tried rogero 4.30 v2.0 and it gave me data corrupt (8002F153)

could you try using condorstrike to enter recovery please and see where that takes you. just make sure you have the rogero 3.55 v3.7 pup on ur external usb and it should take you to recovery but without the menu with 6 options and ask you to put update data on external and use select and start. this will work with condor strike i'm sure!!!

Jus tried. It said the system software couldn't run properly amd asked for the start select combo. I tried but it said no applicable update data was found and its asking for firmware 4.40.

could you try one last time to unplug the power cable for at least 30 seconds then plug power cable back in and use condor strike again (double check that you pup is named correctly in the proper folders i.e PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP) if this fails i'm gonna try and emulate the problem i had so I can help further.

Do u have a game disc in the drive?
