How do i copy game from External USB HDD to my Internal PS3 HDD with multiman ?

when you highlight the game using multiMAN you can click triangle then click on copy and you will recieve a confirmation warning asking copy from usb to internal and click on yes to accept and hey presto you is good to go.

Do i always need an original BD disc in the tray to run game from Internal HDD and External HDD ?

And do i have to worry about update over 3.55 from game disc ?

No, afaik. You have bd-mirror.

A) Create folder X:\GAMES
B) Transfer the games to that folder
C) Connect the drive to multiMAN
D) multiMAN will detect the games
E) Copy the games to the internal HDD

I went in the option and selected bd-mirror and when i start the game it still send me to the xmb and its not working until i put a bd disc in the tray.. or does it have to be internal for bd-mirror to work ?

Sorry.. if you think im not reading what your saying, just got my PS3 downgraded it's all new for me.

if you have an external drive you have no need to copy to internal. (well not every game only some) try the hermes payload instead of standard at the bottom of settings within multiman. you have no need to say sorry as evreybody and i repeat everybody started out where you are now. some pick it up quicker than others and begin to flame and troll which in my opinion is so so wrong. but if you can read and follow instructions which we know you can as you have successfully downgraded your ps3 with help from others you have nothing to say sorry for.

Alright, i ask alot of questions i know.. but thats why i learn quick, im starting to get used to multiman but there is some function i am trying to understand but i with all the mm update i find on google when looking for answer it's hard to sort out and there is not really a guide for it.

I just wanna know if i always need a blue ray disc in my tray to load game from an external HDD. It is already on Hermes and it's still sending me on XMB when i have no BD in tray. Well.. it's not a big deal tho.

And i was wondering if i have to do anything to avoid Firmware update from recent game disc, is there an option to stop them from XMB and Multiman or it's doing it already ? cause i am not the only one using the PS3 and i don't want other people to mess up my work.

only certain games need a disk in drive and at the moment none will ask for an update as we are on the latest firmware so just keep on top of spoofers when latest ofw updates are available. hope this helps

When it kicks you back to XMB, start the game from */app_home/PS3_GAME/ , under Games Menu, or under game settings in Multiman, check Direct boot, or whatever it's called.

If that is the problem, don't know if you start games "properly".?
