PS3 won't boot

well once again my ps3 decides to freeze up on me, tried doing restoring file system freezes there. ive tried everything in safe mode except #5 im getting tired of loosing my game saves cause my ps3 wanna act slow and retarded. is there a way i can get my saves off my ps3 before ihave to format once again just to use my ps3 ? or better yet fix the constant freezing issue

i'm not sure but your ps3 need to work at least to backup your savegames..

unless they found a way to decrypt the hdd on a pc..

A bit more information please..what console do you have, when does it freeze? (randomly or on start up), is the fan noise excessive? etc.

You could be lucky and find that it's just the HDD which is faulty. I had a 120Gb slim which had the same sounding fault. It would freeze but only because the HDD was ****ed. The only way to get it to boot was to format the drive which lasted until you turned it off again. Turn it back on, same freezing problem. If it's an early slim, the HDD is bad, try swapping for another and testing again.

well i did that a while ago and thought it was my hdd... my friend dropped it on the floor and ever since then ive had to format and etc then it stopped. then it got easier to cope with since it said i had to restore file system and booted...
