thank you so much for checking my dump. will you plz check the dump bkps31.bin then you will find a valid offset 00f00010
and my hdd is brand is seagate and mj999 find it on my dump checking. thanks again to all people for their priceless time

I do see a valid offset 00f00010 in dump bkpps31.bin. But I cannot find seagate anywhere in it.

Edit - After patching and flashing bkpps31.bin, you say you get no video, no audio, and no hdd activity. Do the usb ports have power?
Plug something in that should light up so you know if the ports have power.
If they don't have power. Then unclip the linker from the flasher. Now check to see if the usb ports have power.

I have seen before where there was no power going to the usb ports, so the dongle can not make ps3 go into FSM. But when I unclipped the ribbon from the flasher (and still have flasher plugged in to hdd bay and connected to esata), usb ports regained power and I was able to do the FSM downgrade.
Just a thought, maybe give it a shot.

Look here. It is not the header of the dump, it is the magic header in offset 00F00010.

I learn more about validating these dumps everyday also. We are actually suppose to check everything in the flash and compare with this chart.

I am actually doing a downgrade now and it has a seagate hdd. The info in offset 00f20200 is similar to yours. It starts with st then has numbers. So I think that part is good.

i found a problem in linker's wire between d11 and d12 i corrected it,
then i took a backup and patched then flash is to my console {100000} then i remove linker and also flasher from hdd slotthen put my hdd in and my psp at right most port then put power cable board . then i pressed power plus eject. my ps3 turned on for 3 or 4 sec and turned off itself without stand by light.
i thought i should stop at this stage and asked at this thread is it bad thing or good .

also thank you all senior member to give me direction for checking again linker wires.
