PS3 fails to start, shut down 2-3 sec
Hi
If I startup the PS3 , then after 2-3 seconds it shut down automaticly. I see in the beginning just the red light, after pressing the power button the light turns green, but after 2-3 seconds the PS3 shut down automaticly. There is no light anymore. Once again, i press the power button and the light turns red again and after that it's same story as above. To be clear: - I see no yellow light - The red light does not flash It is a SLIM 160Gb type CECH-2503A Does anyone have experience with this? gr Rick |

Hi donkey-punch
I have indeed tried to flash with an E3 flasher from version 3.72 to go back to version 3.55. I did this with an E3 flasher limited edition. Is it possible that this is the cause? |

@ donkey-punch
I've already gone through checking my NOR dump. This was ok. See my threat: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=47376&page=2 @ Mr Dutch (hoi mede-nederlander) My original firmware was 3.55 and the model type is CECH-2503A |

************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* This is a similar video from youtube, maybe the problem is somewhat clearer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuOqNakGmxI It seems that my ps3 is bricked? How can this be solved? ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* I'm getting a little crazy, because I'm already more than two months trying to get my ps3 back to version 3.55. I hope there are some experts here who can help me. I have read so many good posts of the members on this forum that I now have become a daily visitor, but I can't get out of this problem. ![]() Anyway, I'm glad you want to help me out. I appreciate that. ![]() I have watched the Youtube video again and read also the reactions considered on this video. There are two possible solutions mentioned. 1) solve the problem by replacing the PS3 power supply. In my case it should be an APS-270 2) Adjust the trimpods with 10 degrees. I have just tried the option 2, but nothing happens. It's still the same situation. Do you think that replacing the power supply aps-270 could be the solution?
