any chance you can point me in the right direction then as i have been looking for a slim hackable for the kids to leave at their grandparents house and can't find 1 anywhere near that price

sure. try local cash converters and similar shops. you can even check the firmware in store.

either that or ask local junkies. they will sell them real cheap

also its quite easy to stick an ad in the supermarkets as a "wanted" item (put model specification on note)

simple things sometimes work best

bollocks to trading with junkies pal if i seen a junkie round my way with a slim id take the phuker clean off him. cash converters sounds a little more promising though. supermarkets a no go at that price (tried and failed) I'll be heading straight to cash converters the morrow after work though and see what they can do.

stay away from "CEX" though. i was in store yesterday and their prices of everything were taking the piss to the point that buying new would be cheaper than 2nd hand

I was in cex yesterday as well and i give them 3 months and they will no longer be trading. ridiculous prices. i don't understand how they have stock!!!!

Funnly enough I went to cash converts to get the move starter kit, they had it there at 14 quid for the move and camera. Bought it then went to CEX in Bradford, it was 8 quid more expensive, less than 100 meters between the 2 shops.
