I was wondering how to fix fifa 13 after updating to v1.04 so when i run it it send me back to xmb screen and gives me this error 80010017,its working fine without this update so please any help !!!!!

I actually would like to know the same thing since I've been surfing the web all day today for a solution. I'm on the latest Rogero CFW and keep getting this error trying to load Mega Man 9 from the XMB.

I'm assuming PSN titles are NOT meant to be played in MultiMAN and are to be loaded right from the XMB, correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe that error is because the eboot is fixed to the wrong firmware. I had that error on games that were fixed for 3.55

What cfw u running? If ur using a 355cfw u gota resign the update for 355. If ur using a 421 cfw and the update giving you that problem, same solution either resign for 355 or 421 then game will work

I have mm9 & 10 both I got cracked when I was on 355 cfw, now I use Rex and both still load for me didn't have to resign nothing. Launch from actual xmb.

How can i do this and how to resign what do you mean by resign im on 3.55 spoofed to 4.31

This is 100% correct. I got it working by resigning the EBOOT. This is the best tutorial I've seen on it if anyone else is interested: http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3685


Now I have to figure out why downloading updates for games like Marvel vs Capcom 2 revert the game back to the trial version!

How would downloading updates to your legally purchased games, revert them to trial versions?

Beats me. It launches fine, asks me to download the 1.01 update (which it installs without issue), and when I try and launch it again, it's the trial version. If I ignore the update, it's still the full version, but I would like the most up-to-date version of all my games for obvious reasons.

So, in other words, it will stay on the full version if I download the update pkg file, sign it with 4.21, and then install it over the game?

If your on 4.21 yes, but unlike most ppl here I havnt needed to resign like 85% of my psn title, there still on 355 sig and load. If ur updating them your prbly guna have to resign them. Alot of updates and games are being signed with 4.25 and if ur running Rex 4.21 you need to resign those updates and games for 421 ^_^
