For my MAC address I swap my was to digits from BA to AB.
Console ID I swapped about 4 digits in the string.

Using the Option "Random" in PSIDPatch1.6 was drastically altered, completely different, and I figured "that can't be right" so I used the consecutive logic, as I have worked in a production line before and seen that serials were created as 1234, 1235, 1236, 1237, 1238, 1239, 1240 etc....

What difference does it make if it's PSID or ConsoleID? You missed the point It's going to be (or is) someone else's ID. Whether it's a console that hasn't been online yet or someone that is going to be disappointed when they get their ps3.

It's not going to look good on Sony, first inpressions are everything. Eventually they won't even consider any cfw user as safe or trustworthy. If someone screws up and gets themselves a perma ban, it's their responsibility to live up to their mistake...not make new ones that affect others.

I think I'm done posting in this thread, it's gone so off-topic, I respect this site enough to give everyone else a break and let some worthy threads take the spot...and possibly give the staff a break.

Too bad most of the people wanting to unban themselves dont give a damn about anyone else and morals went out the window as long as they can play their warez online. You want warez online get a 360, flash the drive with LT firmware and have fun. At least we dont have to worry about this **** in the 360 community. If you get banned in the 360 community you need a new keyvault which you cant just spoof. You would either have to buy one or have one given to you.

Honestly I didn't like it when everyone was on PSN with MFW to begin with but now there are going to be legit users that will be the winners in the ****ty "A hacker accidentally generated your console ID" lottery.

You guys are making it very unlikely that passphrases for PSN or new MFWs on a regular basis will ever happen. Good luck getting the passphrase without someone handing it to you. Soon 4.40 will be out and I would almost bet without a new MFW or a new passphrase you will be offline again and honestly I hope that happens.

I went on PSN and it is slowly going downhill..... thanks ps3usercheat. So now not only do I have to worry about whether or not the game I am going to play is going to be cheater free, I also have to worry about my Console ID accidnetally being generated and banned..... yeah you guys can have PSN but dont ***** when it is a paid service next gen like xbox Live is.

Most of us have a CFW so we (among other things)can backup our original Ps3 discs to keep them in pristine condition and add them to the other one hundred or so we've downloaded.
And then talk about morals of obtaining a Console ID\Mac code

I swear many "INTELLIGENT" people on here have said time and time again, Do not go on PSN with MFW, For multiple valid reasons. I swear the world is going into ****. Like bobbyblunt mentioned wheres the moral at? If you need to go online so bad go OFW or get a second PS3 and the game. You don't pay for PSN you pay to be on it (for some of you) and so you don't own PSN only the system so use their "Service" the right way or else don't ***** and complain when they refuse to provide you with such services.

Brings up the saying "Just because you can doesn't mean you should".

Respect to those who are on MFW and staying the hell off PSN, and respect to those who got a second ps3 and the game supporting the developers and using the service as intended.

You are missing the point. It's not about making backups. it's the people who's been told million times if you're on CFW DO NOT GO ONLINE or risk being banned. Now they are banned they are crying and want to get back online. And the saddest part is they are willing to steal somebody else's console or maybe console not being sold yet just to get the ID so they can go back playing/cheating whatever they do online.That's when MORALITY kicks in if they have it...

Yes because backing up your own game is completely different then generating console IDs. You sir are a ****ing moron. Piracy has happened since the beginning of networking and will continue to be around after we are all dead. It does effect people (the devs) but it is mainly hurting greedy corporations. Now generating a console ID that in turn could be a valid ID from a console that is completely legit is bull****. Now you arent hurting a large corporation, you are hurting an innocent user that just wants to play games. Thank you for proving my point....as long as you can play your warez online **** everyone else.

You adding piracy to the debate is invalid. I have sailed the seven seas enough that I have my own ship yet I keep my MFW PS3 offline. If I were to ever take it online and get it banned you can bet money on the fact I wouldn't be generating other console IDs to ban evade. I was once a legit user, as was everyone else on this forum. Would you like it if you had an OFW box and one day found out you were banned because some scumbad modder (like yourself) decided it was cool to ban evade so they could play games they have never paid for on the network in which you enjoy playing multiplayer with friends. Turn the tables and let us see if you are still a jackass. I hope someone accidentally generates your console ID and gets you banned.... couldn't happen to a nicer person
