ok so i have a phat psp 1000 (2 actually) running the latest cfw and ws just wondering if their are any guides here at hax how to prepare them for use as a fsm dongle. I know i will need to downgrade them to 5.50 gen but have no idea how to go about that. also once it is downgraded to said cfw what are the next steps? I am well aware i could probably find my answers searching but I am so busy tending to my boys as my wife is laid up in bed heavilly pregnant.

I know I downgraded to 5.03 with hellcatz and then used the eggsploit. And then installed 5.50 gen d3.

I did it using Pandora Battery,
you can use your own PSP 1000 to convert it to Pandora using psptools by DX
than prepare Magic memory stick and downgrade your PSP
This is how i did it

PSP you no longer have to downgrade. The last OFW was owned and can be modded on every PSP including the PSP3000. No need to downgrade. There are tutorials in our PSP section. KIPabc did a nice tutorial on it. As far as what homebrew application you will need to kick the PS3 into FSM you can find it here.

Yes We Know but the PS3Jig only works perfect on 5.50 GEN D. it did not work on 6.60 PRO C

Well that I did not know.... thanks for the tip. I havent upgraded from 5.50 even with all the new CFWs out in the wild. I just didnt have a need since everything works on 5.50. Thanks for the tip

No problem,
i was struggling with the PS3Jig on my psp1000 6.60 Pro, until playerkp420 gave me a tip of using 5.50 Gen. and it worked perfectly.

but you can make the Pandora easily because you have the following:
- PSP 1000 and its battery can be Pandorized by software.
- assume your PSP on 6.6. it can be hacked using PRO C, then use psptools to convert it to Pandora.
- then downgrade it to 5.5

so i did not have to buy a Pandora battery or anything
