I would format your sd card to fat32 with the Quick box UNCHECKED.

You could also try formatting it with this tool.

I am not sure what the minimum capacity required is. I would think a 128MB would work. Since the dump is only 16MB.

I use a SanDisk 2gb. I have also used SanDisk 1gb and a Kingston 8gb.

e3 should have came up with a better way to insert the sd card. The method you have to use is a joke.

I agree. On my coverboard, one of the metal contacts on the card reader was bent. I tried to put it back in place but I guess it won't read anymore.

No, you can downgrade multiple consoles with single flasher.
