Go to the first icon on the multiman XMB (Home I think it is), there an option says "Switch to NTFS/PFS mode" or something like that, activate it. A progress bar will appear that says it's identifying NTFS drives, then, go to mMOS (Multiman File manager), double click on PS3 Root, there should be 2 extra folders called /pvd_usb000 and /pvd_usb001, one of these 2 is supposed to be your NTFS drive. Should it still not appear, try restarting multiman (Start+Select, in this order, or even go to PS3 XMB and then reenter Multiman) and follow the procedure again. If none of these work, maybe having a drive with both FAT32 and NTFS partition at the same time doesn't work, this much, escapes my knowledge. Good luck Last edited by Crones; 12-11-2012 at 02:17 PM. |

I vouch for what Crones said. The new multiman should be able to detect an NTFS partition, as outlined in the changelog. I'm currently using an NTFS harddrive, with a FAT32 partition, and multiman has no issues detecting the fat32 section. If I want the NTFS partition detected, I'd follow Crones' instructions : Switch to NTFS/PFS mode -> mMos filemanager -> /pvd_usb000 and /pvd_usb001

Same problem here...
Got a couple of NTFS formated drives and *none of them* is accessible with Multiman. No matter if the drive contains one or two partitions... Though PVD_USB000 and PVD_USB001 appear after switching to the NTFS driver, clicking on them results in an eternal loop. Karl Last edited by Karl69; 01-05-2013 at 10:01 AM. |

or better use FAT32 (you may need fat32formatter since windows is only able to format devices with 32-gb space to fat32)

The purpose of that NTFS HDD was to playback huge MKVs with much more than 4 GB via Showtime on the PS3, so NTFS is essential (...and yes, the internal 60 GB drive is already full) Cheers Karl |
