Exclamation How can I watch new Blu-Ray movies on 3.55?

My PS3 is running kmeaw 3.55 with rebug 2.2 4.11 spoofer but when I try to play blu-ray movies(disc) such as The Dark Knight Rises or Prometheus, it won't play the movie and said I have to update the system firmware.

Rebug spoofer is surely activated and I double check the system info it says i'm running 4.11

Can someone help me please? I really want to watch these movies =/

keys? What keys?
Do you mean, I should use Rogero 4.30 CFW instead?
Will that CFW allows me to watch new blu-ray movies?
Can I install Rogero directly on top of kmeaw 3.55?
Could you explain like I am five please?

The AACS keys are present in the firmware and are renewed every so often. The files present on the Bluray discs use these keys in order to play. Old keys -> No playback of newer films that use newer keys. Simple.

Okay upon searching and reading I need the AACS key from the latest firmware to be able to play blu-ray movies but the problem is, I can't find anywhere that provide AACS key.

Can you help me point in the right direction?

OKay, just want to make sure. You're saying that the latest Rogero 3.40 allows me to watch latest blue-ray(disc) release?

@r.storm85

Because its Sony

The disc should be enough to update the keys but the way the PS3 implements the AACS spec, this is not allowed.

The PS3 has additional checks in there that no other player will have.

I suppose if someone were to decrypt and resign the AacsModule.spu.isoself file (and others?) then it might be possible to play newer discs on 3.55.

I wouldn't test any of that without a flasher though (just in case)
