never been gunned it's a friends. i would never gun anybody elses console. I was gonna buy this for my kids if he can get a permanent fix on it. but I don't see the point in buying it if I have to post full phat down and pay for repair on top price for console. just not worth it in my opinion. I'll contact him tomorrow and see how it goes. thanks for the link

This will connect your solderless clip on the retail bitstream on the skeet 1.1 aswell as been able to put your tsop direct to it

The one baileyscream posted is like the one i use to have that sat in a master reader then using software called mutnutz or something like that I use to dump the chip, then you erase it and write back any dump to it. You could have 20 cable boxes all with the same id and MAC.
That is one thing I can't get my head round with the ps3, surely if we erase the chips then why can't we dump back another dump from another console.
Its like the 3000 model, if we took out the nor chip and replaced it with a blank one then wrote ofw 3.55 to it then why wouldn't it work.
Surely at some point in the sony factory they wait till the console is built and then write the firmware to it. So what is the difference for us to do it ?

I agree the per console info is surly build able
Or
Extractable then build an image from it

Even if it matched hardware like 360 all you need is CPU key and you can create a image from nothing

Sorry for double posting!
Keano did a fantastic job with my PS3 slim, sent it off on the 12th and he dropped it off himself today. Fully downgraded from 4.25 and then upgraded to the latest rogero with multiman.
