You could as someone said, purchase from eBay, but make sure to ask the seller what's the Firmware (Software Version) the system has. Because you'd be unsatisfied by buying a PS3 with 3.56+ FW as I see it.

What i mean was about the finding a PS3 that has been downgraded will be more likely, than finding one that is still on 355 or below in /excellent/good condition. People are not selling them by the masses ,but you can always find a downgraded or OFW PS3 , being the OFW are not as valuable to people like myself unless it can be downgraded. OFW is just another boring PS3 nothing special about it in my opinion. I own one & dislike it on OFW ,it collects dust that is all for over a year in 5 months. I use it only when DLC comes out for Black ops to get it from PSN now.

I am, all CFW PS3 scene "Junkie". I can downgrade my OFW & have 4 CFW PS3s but there is no reason to downgrade it being i need one for PSN. I already talked to someone abut a PS3 ,he said it was like new but i am not sure if he wants to sell it for the price he originally said. I am not a no hurry since i have plenty, but i do want 1 last PS3 Slim in good/excellent just reliable, shape. I don't want to have to deal with any issues after i get the PS3 down the road .That is why i try to find the best PS3 i can.

If he decides or sell or has sold the PS3.? One way or another i don't know till i ask him. Where are you located anyways.? Also do you get Slims allot ? The money is never a issue my friend. I won't buy a PS3 that has been YLOD ,i stay away from PS3s that have been fixed from something like that ..

Finding a PS3 in mint/excellent cond is why i am willing to pay $275/300 . The last PS3 i bought. It is so mint it is like nobody ever used it. I reminds me of my OFW, but without dust on top = (AS I LMFAO => CLICK ME it is on CFW now REX 421 .The best used PS3 i every bought used for the 3rd try. The others never made it to my house which was pathetic. I wish it was a slim though, PS3 phats are easier to blow the dust out with a high powered air compressor or reverse flow mini shop vac. The vents on slim are so small..

I will check to see if @bigbones sold/or is still going to sell his PS3. I hope i remembered his user name spelling correctly..

If you wanted to get a little greedy, you can get more that but being the seal of the box is broke can make people skeptical.

Im from Philadelphia ,pa a.k.a hell! lol. and yes I do get slims in every once in a while with bad disk drives that I replace.... I hardly ever see slims with ylod...

Bigbones87 actually. but no big deal. Sorry I never got back to you. Someone seen my ad on another forum, and seen that it was practically brand new out the box, so he offered me $400 for it. Couldn't refuse. I am suppose to be getting a few more slims in this week, if everything goes well. If so, I will be downgrading them and then packaging them up for sale. I will send you some pictures and such to see if you are interested in them. I could probably do YOU a pretty good deal on one. Once I get them, nd open them up, I will be able to see the conditions of them and let you know. Bye my friend.

I got 3 Ps3 on Cfw the only reason I opened it beside to check firmware which I new because I bought like 5 at the time is to make sure it worked so if it didn't warranty would of fixed it
Like I honestly said I don't intend to sell it at moment but if someone is in need I would sell it

Got a ylod 60gig which I blowdried to get it working that's put away with my other slim 160 gig as I said no need for me to lie even though i no your not accusing me of lying like i said everything is in it's wrappers if a person seas it believe me I am sure they would no what I am

Also I no it's worth more but I am not the greedy type I see people go to sell these like $500 if that was the case your better of getting one for less and getting a e3 to dual boot it

I seen a brand new PS3 in the Box on amazon $1000 ! I though WTF ,but i did almost buy it ! I was going to keep it like that in box for later maybe worth more if it stayed in box sealed. It was a release model backwards compatible i forget now. You can imagine the FW it was on defiantly other OS..

I trust you i was not doubting you .So you know ,i simply say that people if posting for sale that is was barley used or now used just used to check the FW ,etc many people would not believe that cause they can not really tell being the PS3 does not keep track of the hours played is any display mode i have seen yet .It would be nice if it did have that built in .I think would be a nice feature that would help know when YLOD or other problems happen after how may hours,etc

I don't blame you bud you know that . I am glad you got what you did for it . Like i said everyone has different needs ,why pass up a good offer. Me i don't need money really i love it though lol but i am good, so i can take a loss for whatever i want to sell if i did sell something.
