No i didn't hijack the account, My friend got it from a friend on skype and then he said that his friend said it was his and you could download dlc off of it, it had games like skyrim etc so i downloaded it and the next day i couldn't even get on psn.

Something's not right here....he probably was banned already and tried to unban his PS3 by using somebody else's PSid or whatever ID. Got caught for hijacking somebody else's account. Those proof he has, see what Photoshop can do...

I didn't think about that, those sites are usually trade for trade so if he didn't deliver, I could see it the other way as well.

Honestly this is what happens when involved in shady deals..... you should look at how gamesharing works. There is only a number of 2 activated systems allowed. So you had no business using an account that was not given to you directly and your so called "friend" deserves to be banned as well because it is clear that he did steal the account and deactivated the original owners PS3 if you two could both download from it.

As per Sony wanting money, I may give them a call to see if there is any truth to this whole "paying to unban an account" nonsense since you are the first person to ever claim this to have happened.

Its simple, his friend passed details of a hacked account and password, and he unknowingly (I hope) download the DLC on good faith. The owner in the mean time made a complaint, and everyone using this account got a ban.

But asking money to unban, mmm.

i've tried telling them that it was a mistake and i didn't know it was a hacked account they didn't say anything.
