I've jailbreaked my ps3 with a psp fat.
No need to a pandora.
Hellcat can downgrade direct to 5.50 Then upgrade to 5.50 gen.
Ater using ps3jig to jailbreak the ps3 you can upgrade the Psp back to initial fw.

5.50 gen d3 is the only way to make ps3jig to work properly.

ok i got my psp to 5.50 gen. (d-3 final if it matters) how do i use it as a jig now (with brandon w ps3jig v1.00?) attempting my 1st downgrade now and want to be well prepared. Don't fancy coming back with dramas and a bricked ps3. I gonna make a dump and patiently wait for a heads up in the mean time.

My PSP is on 5.50 GEN D3. You use the app just like a game. Open the app and when my guide says to insert your downgrade dongle, you insert your PSP, with a usb cord.

Please note, I have only confirmed it working on a PSP 1001. I wish I had a newer PSP to test it, but I don't. I have seen users not being able to get it to work with PSP 2000 and 3000. But it could be from user error. Idk.

It's not as I have felt the need to correct, but for who was trying to prepare the Psp searching for a 5.50 PRO will just not be helpfull.

About the signature, it is automatically placed by the app I use to sign into the forum.


I confirm that ps3jig works great with my Psp Fat (1000). The same it's not true when I tried with a Psp 2000 (slim) - it simply didn't work.
