http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._homicide_rate http://chartsbin.com/view/1454 http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cr...ers-per-capita See? The US doesn't even rank in the top 10 in any of those. Many of those countries that surpasses the US aren't allowed guns. Crazy to think that people will still kill if they don't have guns. I guess you're chart is good if you're making a chart based on weapon of choice. Otherwise it's totally propagandized. |

Meanwhile, the other 320 million Americans were shocked and horrified by this today. Brilliant

All our prayers goes to them and their families.
BTW regarding this awful news, media never title these attempts as terrorising or attempt by terrorist unless if there were anything related to a certain ethnicity or religious group. If this kid was either a Muslim or his parents were, it will broad casted as a terrorists attack. |

First of all my deepest respect to those who died and their family, those things shouldn't happen in a civilized country...
And don't think that situation will never happen.... To be honest I have been in that situation with civil servants making me really mad I wanted to kill them. I'm glad we don't have so easy access to weapons as people in the US of A have otherwise I would be in prison now.... Also luckily we have a War on Weapons in stead of a War on Drugs so I chilled with a big joint in stead of a big gun

The truth of the matter is that there will always be bad people who desire to do bad things. There is no one way to stop the devious act. For example: If someone wanted to kill a large group of people and they could not get a gun, they will find alternative ways to get the job done. They do not care what rules or laws they need to break, they will figure out a way to get things done according to their desire.
If I want to play video games for free on a PS3, I will try to find ways to accomplish that, even if Sony says it is not allowed and they will ban me from PSN and their other services if I do not follow the rules. The means of accomplishing the task will always be available and people will always be working on new way to accomplish certain goals... Banning guns will not save us from the evil, because there is always more than one way to do the deed. There will always be corruption in politics, religion, education, and so forth. The only thing we can do right now is pray for the families that have been tragically affected by this horrible act and wake up to the fact that this could possibly happen again. We must prepare ourselves. We spend so much time working against each other on how the rules should be set, that we forget we must come together as people and put aside our differences to help one another. Just because our views are different does not mean we need to divide. Put down the politics for a moment and realize we are all very different, but we all have the same basic needs. |

to all the pro gun advocates who use the other weapon argument nobody who is anti-gun is saying that shirts shouldnt be manufactured if some1 is choked to death with their own garment.... thats not what a shirt is for but a gun is specifically made to kill otherwise it has no other purpose..... Either stop making guns and or ammunition and people who have an itchy trigger finger would have to work that much harder to commit violent massacres.
