with the lid off you will see two colors at the same time, with the lid on it will show as yellow.

if the fan was lately spinning faster then it was in the beginning, then we know your answer.

i saw overhere a price of 75 euro , i guess it depends from wich country you are from....

you can do a ghetto fix yourself with a heatgun or put the ps3 in an oven, but consider that as a temp fix, reballing should be a permanent fix.
