[SOLVED] GTA IV not working with 1.06 update on Rogero v2.03
Hello friends, I can't get the updated game to work with this firmware. It freezes while installing game data to HDD. If I don't install the update, it installs game data and runs fine. I'm running the game from internal with Hermes payload and BD-Mirror checked. Is there a solution for this?

Are you using latest multiman?
Are you using the official update/not modded?

Try changing to Standard BD-ROM Emulator in multiMan settings, then uncheck BD-Mirror in the game settings. See if that works.

I was also having problems with gtaiv on 4.30. I tried it from an external hdd with and without bd-mirror and starting with select+x from the disc icon not app/home. I deleted and re installed game data and everything. if anyone has it working or can think of something I haven't tried I would greatly appreciate it

How weird... I had the Regero 4.30 CFW and GTAIV ran PERFECTLY FINE!
But I wasn't tooo happy with it, so I went down to 3.55 Kmeaw CFW and still works the same as before... I never did any updates to it, other than a modded update, and still works fine... I don't have the latest mM, but what are you running it from? multiMAN, or XMB? Is it DISC or backup? EDIT: Is it the original GTAIV? Or the Complete Edition...?
