Hi, I have a fat ps3 80gb serial number is CECHLO4. I checked the wiki, which says I can downgrade it from 4.31(current version installed on it) to 3.55.
Also I need to jailbreak it to play games that i do NOT own.

so if I jailbreak it. I will not be able to play the games that I have the bought legally?
Do i need a E3 flasher to jailbreak it?

P.S i am NEW to ps3 stuff. So I don't even understand the most of the things actually. So that's why I started this thread to ask the questions as well, thank you

Your console is ok to downgrade, but you jailbreak to play games you do not own? Really? Even if that's the case at least don't mention that when asking for help as you won't get it.

Of course you can play games you legally own, where do you get your information?

Oh and yes a flasher Is required.

Where do I get the flasher and the right tutorial for ps3 fat?

And is flasher mandatory? Is there noway we can use usb with fat version to jailbreak?

Has to be a flasher, you need to determine whether your console is NAND or Nor as I think 80gb fat had one of each, I could be wrong.

As for where the tutorial is, you tell me, your the one searching for it.
