I just tried ps1 game and it worked. But it must be an Eboot and put in inside game and put the keys inside too.

I used to convert my own discs to eboots for use with popsloader, singlehandedly the most impressive thing about the psp in my opinion, resident evil and final fantasy on the go.

And the keys btw haven't been required for years, maybe that's a store version or something.

I bought a secondhand psp as soon as i jailbroke my ps3 back in the days of 3.41 ofw. I think that its an awsome idea to get a psp, I paid $30 for mine and I bought a 16gb memorie card, on the psp I have a umd dumper a FBAnext emulator ,a snes emulator ,a gameboy emulator ,a ps1 emulator and a N64 one. You can use a video converter to convert torrented movie's and TV programmes into a format the psp understands an watch them on the go. Also another thing that ive done is programed all of my backed up games on my ps3 (via a param.sfo editor) to run remotely over my home internet connection, so anywere in the house I can play Batman Arkham city or Mortal kombat 9 or Need for speed most wanted with my headphones plugged in whilst my girlfriend watches ''New girl'' on the TV. Getting the hack onto the psp is easy on a psp 2000, even easier on a 1000, with the 2000 you've got to find out what mother boards in it first before installing your psp custom firmware. Its defenetly worth it, Id say do it you'll never regret it...

You're wrong and right at the same time, yes all PSP models can be hacked, but not all can be kept with the permanent CFW (hint: PSP 3000).

yeah, i got a psp-1001 as an early xmas gift cuz i wanted that one first, because it can be perma-hacked it AND it's more compatible with homebrew.

anyway, it's actually not that hard to make a psx game work with popsloader, lol. there's a few different programs that help you make it, i use PSX2PSP, but impaler works too.

Ok guys my psp arrived today, and im amazed, really good handheld console and it's full of homebrew to choice.

Currently Homebrew Im Using: D-GEN(Emulator of sega genessis)
UltimatePspTube: (Youtube and other streaming sites)
NetfrontBeta4(An more fast web browser, really fast btw)

Im also using the UmdGen but that's is for other purposes you know

My psp is the 2000 model.

I bought for 65 euros, i think it's a good deal cuz it comes it and memory stick, bag, data cable, and a spiderman 3 movie, btw this psp is the spiderman limited edition ( i don't care about that xD)

I see many homebrew, but im looking for, the best youtube app for the psp, can you guys guide me for the right direction i mean i have time too test some apps, but if any of you already know the best one i il appreciate.

You should try to get Nitepr/Coderpr. It REALLY makes the psp better haha.

As for youtube homebrew since psp scene is basically DEAD(trust me I watched it die) It is kind of hard to find a reliable youtube homebrew since youtube is constantly updating.

It would help though to know your current CFW. Since not all homebrew is compatible with all CFW.
I think the UltimatePSPTube is the one I used so your pretty good. And yeah I know SLOW.

A friend of my son gave him an used PSP ( I think a 3000... DOnt know anything about PSP. Never used one)... Right now Im following the wololo.net guide to hack it... Ill post later how it goes...
