The only problem with NAND is if your console has badblocks more than a couple or just the one in wrong place flo rebuilder won't extract nothing and your stuck with a retail console and loss of postage I told you this over pm

Keano just downgraded a couple of my PS3's and I cannot recommend his work highly enough. His work is fantastic and he's also a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly use his services again should the need ever arise.

Regardless of how many bad blocks the PS3 has it can still be downgraded.

I've downgraded 100's of NAND consoles with a 100% success rate - NO PERMA BRICKS.
I can have it downgraded and back to you within 2-3 days (by courier) or you can drop it in.

If you use the right hardware and tools, reading & writing the NAND isn't a problem at all. NANDs can be swapped providing the blocks are mapped correctly.

Hi there,

Would like to have my slim ps3 cech 2003B 4.31 downgraded and what not.
Basically would like it good to go so to speak with all the stuff needed CFW if possible. Is an additional HD necessary? I have an external one, is another internal needed/ recommended? I'm in the uk, can any of you guys sort me out?
