Hey guys,

I'm going to purchase an E3 Flasher downgrader for my PS3 and just wanted to know which firmware I should downgrade to and which is the best and why out of 3.55 and 3.41. My PS3's base firmware is 3.40, so I can go to either.

Also, I wondered if you could also let me know which CFW is the best, because I've only used GeoHot's 3.55 and a Keamw 3.55 one so I have no idea.

which cfw to install is the least of things you need to know before starting. make sure to learn the tut of baileyscream or playerkp420. as for cfw i will recommend rogero 4.3v2.03.

They are on the Sticky of the Downgrade Section

Click on the ps3 scene status, the tutorials are there. I would recommend REX 4.21 as that is what I'm running.

the other solution would be rebug rex. rogero is easier to use (new games will not require fix )

i think he will brick he's ps3 before arriving at the part which cfw to install. just a feeling.
he should be more worried about downgrading part rather then cfw

I've seen a few PKGs that seem to only work on GeoHot's CFW though, would that not be the better option? I want to use Rogero's 4.30 v2.03 but now I'm steering more towards GeoHot's because of all the compatibility. Can someone shed some light here?

Geohot is crap, use Rogero.
