and it looks like the clip is not sat on the nand correctly (if this was the 1.1 version this IS the reason) but as i dont have the 1.2 yet then you really will need to take your time amd check everything twice and twice more again. as soon as it gets here i can start messing 1st create a propper guide then try to mess things up so i can understand what fault points to what fix. although that will probably happen as i'm trying to do the guide cos if something can go wrong then it will for me

ok I can't get any life into this flasher. I have the clip taped down nice and tight with a coin on top for extra pressure. When i power on the ps3 i get no lights on the flasher. I tried takin the clip off and turning it around but it will only go on 1 way due to the cable not lining up with the flash when the ps3 is put back together. Startin to lose patience with this now as I have been on since Saturday with this thing.

@donkey-punch
@ortis123 the flasher works fine. i downgraded with it using the linker and the clip. if it wouldnt downgrade then i wouldnt have sold you it. if there is no power then the clip is either on the wrong way around or the legs of the nor are dirty (this then can be passed onto the clip pins) or the clip isnt sat on the nor correctly or the connector on the E3 is loose (you may need to clamp this if the ribbon is tight) you also dont need the internals of the ps3 sat into the base of the ps3's casing (if you have it like this) then you will get a bit more room to alter things. you dont need the E3 sat in the hdd bay either (if you have it like this) so again you can put the E3 in a better position to give you more space.
