I feel lazy today, can anyone tell me what advantages this has over the multiman pkg installer thats built into rogero's cfw? If it allows me to tick what packages I want to install instead of having to wait for each one to copy over before selecting the next, I'm all over this *****.

Just reporting that I get error 80010017 while trying to launch any of the 2 installed PKG files (signed / unsigned).

FW: Rogero CFW 4.30 v2.03

EDIT: Apparently the application is signed for FW 2.40, so I don't know why it fails to start, probably the programming itself or something.

PS: Maybe others can confirm what FW they have and if it is working or not.

@manster , @hellsing9 or some other mod, can you please update the main thread or remove this from the news?

The application is currently not working from what has been reported.

I don't see the point of announcing something on the front page, when is not working or has not been tested properly.

EDIT: I just tried the application again following the details on the readme, and still the same issue, the application is not working.

How to use it: place in the main directory of your USB a pkg (it can handle up to 100 pkgs, and the max size for each of them is 4GB). then plug in the usb on the ps3 and run the app. it will search the usb from /dev_usb000 to /dev_usb009, once found it will start it copy and create the right files to allows you to install it from the XMB without the option. it will also search in the /dev_hdd0/package folder THIS APP WILL RESTART THE PS3 ONCE FINISHED.

@deank 's installPKG has never given me any issues, and this application doesn't have any new feature, it will copy PKG files and restart the PS3 at the end too, same process as installPKG.

My recommendation to everyone: keep using the latest installPKG or multiMAN.

because is not signed for 4.xx just resign it and it will work!

ok..we do that, already done but it was advertised like this at first = supports 4.30CFW Rogero, that line isn't there anymore...and really no big deal but if we see such release we expect it working

ok..after proper resign it runs and looks like it's installing the PKG, tested 2 times, 1 from usb and the other pkg from hdd0\packages
u can see the usb led while it's scanning the usb/packages folder, shows on screen it's installing the PKG but it isn't and also it doesn't reboot(wich would make it work i guess)

tested on Rebug 4.21.1 resigned eboot

Since im not the one who posted this (one main reason im away from apps) @manster have to update or remove from frontpage according to his data and @deroad solution to this *problem*.

I cannot *hijack* or indeed edit something that's not mine.
