No but serious have you got a multimeter to test the ribbon to make sure it has not broken in the bend pal

can't get my hands on a multimeter till tomorrow. gonna tidy this away got me up a hight now. time for a fat 1.

Sometimes I cannot get NAND clip to read I remove tsop and spread the legs a little then refit the tsop and it usually works again with e3 I have never had a clip so woudnt know but it could help

But would prob test for continuity first as you have had a bend

Is there a kink in the ribbon??

Hello everyone .... I have a problem with the procedure of fast dualboot on a DIA002 ... following the ultimate guide when I put the switch 01000000, a black screen appears on the screen instead I should have "connect the controller and so on." with no HD activity.
when I put the switch 00000000 I get the known writing on the screen.
I soldered all the cables I think pretty well and i have a valid dump 3.55....
I try flashing the patch file step more time as suggest by baylescream but nothing....the problem is still there...
help me to fix it....thanks....

Can i downgraid without clip (soldering) nand boards? And do I need a jtag programmer to do it?

Yes solder to the tsop legs or wait for my PCB release no change in bit stream use NAND clip or direct tsop attachment

the dual boot is a real pain to get going if it doesnt do it right from the start.
i would personaly re-update the E3 with the dual boot update in the files you should have downloaded from the guide.
then follow the guide again from after the validate step.

nb have you coppied the ps3 nor to E3 nor ar have you not got to that step yet?

thanks baileyscream ....i have made the step " installing the downgrade patch" one time with "one-key downgrade" and one time with "flowrebuild patching".then i put switch 010000 and i have black screen with no hd activity. if i put switch 000000 the message"connect controller....." appears on the screen with hd activity . i don't made the step "finishing the down grade in FSM" because i want to try to solve this problem before...i start the downgrade with multiconsole update..
