you can but if you use winrar then there is less chance of mistakes being made during the double check

if a problem happens during the upload / download of a .RAR file then during extraction winrar will say its a currupt rar file

we just need to ask the person who sent it to re-compress it.


if anything happens during uploading / downloading a .bin file then it will look like a corrupt dump in hxd when actually it just became corrupted during the upload / download.

we will then report that its corrupt and the person trying to downgrade will then have to start over.

when infact it was ok untill it was uploaded / downloaded.

having it corrupt during upload / download is a tiny percentage.
but i have had it happen when i tried to help someone on IRC.

Thanks for checking them. I have discarded both and started fresh.

Also compressed and added username (checked it a bit myself and seems alright, just double checking).

YOUR DUMP IS VALID, BUT 2 FILES ARE MISSING FROM ros0 & ros1 folder

me_iso_for_ps2emu & sv_iso_for_ps2emu files are missing from those folders. Since these files are for ps2 emulation, I guess you need not worry.
