Thanks for the input. The ps3 hdd works within my pc. I will be doing a full format later today.

home now for a few hours so gonna format that ps3 hdd in my PC full format gonna take over a hour on a 300 gig hdd

its fixed all working with Rogero_v3.7
DOMICH hit the problem on the head, format hdd via PC BUT full format after i did that hey presto... maybe somebody can piece together all the information and make a tut for other people to follow if they get this problem, im no good at tuts so ill pass

I have hit a problem. I'm on rogero v3.7
I can not update cfw I can install a few pkg but the only one that runs is q&a which is enabled as I checked. Update won't work via XMB or service mode. Help..... Lol
