Follow my guide below from Chapter 2, Part 2 - Qa Flag

This way you will dehash and not worry about bricking. Notice you only need to toggle Qa flag on once, then check it is on with the button combo.

You don't have to go to REX 3.55.3 to get to REX 4.21.1.

ok the extra menus came up after qa. So i can just go from 3.55 cfw to 4.21 rex? or should i still go to 3.55.3 first? so nervous lol

should be able to go from 3.55 ofw straight to 4.21.1 REX according to there site rebug.me

thats what I did on my phat, downgraded with there downgrader to ofw 3.55 and updated from XMB to 4.21.1 REX and thats where I am currently ^_^

Did you not read what I posted?

Toggle qa flag on.
Check with button combo it is on.
Install OFW 3.55 from recovery menu or condor updater.
Install ANY CFW from the XMB. Or in your case REBUG REX 4.21.1.

I would suggest doing it this way, since you do not know what CFW you are on now.

But hey, what do I know. I have only jailbroke almost 300 PS3s. Do what you want.
