What would be the point of not going online with CFW just to not get banned? That makes no sense. When you don't go online for fear of a ban, isn't that like banning yourself?

I say use CFW play online, have fun, don't cheat, don't act like an ass online, and don't be suspicious. Sony may have every right to ban you for using CFW but they arent going to check everyone only the ones who cheat, so just play cool.

And if you get banned, don't get all pissy about it.

What DLFrodo said is about exactly what i mentioned you about, thats all, you can keep your tissue but il borrow mrc1978 tissue and wipe my a$$ with it. I always give back what i borrow .

no mail, no errors..just plain msg "access to sony entertainment network by this account has been banned or temporarily suspended"

on that (LBP) console there was totally 3 online games that were played online + syncing trophies from time to time
lbp 1 (legit disc, warez dlcs)
lbp 2 (backup from legit disc)
lbp karting (totally warez)

no other games from risky group were even installed (leaked releases, cod, mw..etc)
nor there was cheats, fake trophies and similar crap
its console for kids with appropriate kiddy games
there was one major flaw in this...console was pretty much nonstop online
prolly that + patching lbp karting for online purposes draw attention at me

we were online from day 1 with current cfw online sensation (dunno how it lasts like 2 months now?)
pitty...ive got used to psn

dunno is this some mini ban wave, or it was unlucky pick, or some1 actually good griefed us at lbp...
i thought that my cfw online gaming aint such a ban lure, cause of using mostly legit content and playin "less popular" titles
but the sh1t is real..dont be fooled about it at all
stop being so (online) brave vs sony...just lay low until the storm pass...cause eventually u will feel real sorry when ban happens

when this ban mess started i reserved 2 ps3 ids, from friends, for potential unbanning purposes....so all is not lost here
but cba with all that atm:/
ill "enjoy" the disappointment with my ban abit
wanna see how far will this go...and how will scene react (new interesting task do defeat for some hacker, new reason to cry out loud for default "ps3scener")

maybe it will look to some1 that i didnt bring much into this topic, besides sharing my ban exp
but dont be misguided with DONT CHEAT online and ull be fine philosophy, nor avoiding AAA titles will help u much

This is easy, some people have 2 ps3's one for cfw one for ofw. No one is telling you not to go on psn with cfw. They're giving you free advice, respect that person. You don't need to follow it, but don't cry about it if things go bad.

I don't respect your posts when they do nothing but flat out attack people who try to give you advice or something you don't agree with. I've stated my take on cfw and psn and how you can get away with things if you aren't an idiot.

@mrc1978 has given his stance. You don't need to agree but you don't need to act like a child about it either.
