Yep I know, but I don't understand why plenty guys put files like these on youtube, and on the site I've put on my first post, with comments telling it's working...if here people say it's nearly impossible by softmod and only hardware flash tools can do it. I'm disappointed.

Even more when you know the three mousquetaires have leaked the LV0 key which was in news on ps3hax.net too.

Don't want to destroy my brother's PS3 that's why I would like to understand well. If anybody got some kind of stuff/tool to watch in this .pup and can tell if it's useable or fake I would be very thankful.

Hi Guys, i know that this question had been asked over and over again as well as i had read it over and over again. Just hope someone can help to clear this few questions i have encountered over all that i had gathered so far.

- Understand that versions higher than 3.55 OFW cant be downgraded unless is a CFW type. But i had read an official link somewhere which says that OFW can be downgraded using a lower version OFW which the PS3 had use to upgrade before.
So my question is this, the PS3 i have currently is version 4.21 OFW. It has not been used for any of the mods and CFW upgrades. It has only been graded from factory version of 1.97 onwards of all the orginal versions till 4.21. So am i able to do a downgrade to 3.55 OFW using the 3.55 OFW PUP? If not, how am i able to get it restore to factory version?

- Since i do not have any mod to the ps3 at all, i do not have the package options, restore function am i able to convert the ps3 to a 3.55 OFW without using the hardware flasher. Since downgrade can only be done to CFW versions.

I hope i can get my doubts clear! And sry if i had highjacked this thread!

If your on anything above 3.55 ofw it doesnot matter what fw you had previous you need hardware to downgrade
