Can't download anything off PSN. also i get aweird message while trying to access PSN - PS3Hax Network

Hey everyone

i'm on rebug 4,21 and i'm trying to access psn but after i log in as soon as i click on the psn icon i get this message:

"To use this feature, you must first download software, do you want to download now?"

it's a 26M file?! what's this?

the weird thing is that i can't dowload it either, you know where i can find this file so that i can install it manually?

i can connect to psn but not onto the store. also i can't download any patch when i boot a game i f prompted to. the only way to donwload and install a patch to a game is via multiman.

Anyone know why?

That file is an update for the PlayStation store. Im sure I read on here it is fine to download and install. I don't understand the issues you are having that you are unable to download the file though. Have you tried downloading a patch through multi man to make sure the connection is fine to the net?

Yes that file is fine, it's an update to the store.

what @mrc1978 said about downloading other patches. do that.

Yeah @ryohayabusa I made a pkg for this while ago , and no I'm not kidding I really do have this in pkg form ^_^

If you can't find it in forum search, I will re-up tommorow and inbox you it.

Thats the 1.0 update, should get u up and running.
You will have to update again to 1.01 after u install that.

My 1.01 pkg for psn was taken down, I will re-up it tommorow if this 1.0 update doesn't get u going so you can download the newere one.

the point is that i can't dw that file. i get an error 2002A224

about the patches sure i can download them via multiman and i have been doing so - but as soon as i try to download anything off psn i get that error(either patches or that particular file).

i'm sure if i now install that file i'll get the same error as soon as i try to dw something off the store( a demo or whatever)

alright i installed the file above mentioned but now it says i need the 1.01 update(just like you guys mentioned). if i try to download it i get the 80029567 error

SCE_NP_DRM_??? 	0x80029567 	Package install error - You get this error on Retail/CEX + Shop/Kiosk firmwares on unpatched firmware (or without payload) - e.g. Kmeaw/fluke1's 3.55 + psl1ght made fself PKGs. You also get this error when using geohot PKGs on Debug/Dex.

Try and change the settings in the toolbox. Make sure System Mode is set to REBUG.

I also have XMB Operation Mode set to Retail, and Debug Menu Type set to CEX QA. But I don't think those matter.

Yeah i tried with those settings but it doesn't make much of a difference...

Originally I was cautious as to updating the PS Store but I took the chance and worked fine for me.

Just don't like the whole Metro UI. Tacky, slow/sluggish.
