nothing new!

yesterday on IRC, domelec do many pg1.2 test dump's!
to be sure about bitstream errors.

and the progskeet1.2 status is always the same:

only dump's ps3 NAND'S (read/write)...
tested in this way:
.solderless (clip)
.external powering
.latest winskeet

ps3 NOR are only readable via :
.WinSkeet40000_111004
.Zadig (driver change)
.libusb0 driver

et voila! that's all, no date!

Just like the dual NAND for progskeet 1.1 adaptor board it will never come there's an inherent flaw

The people that released it

Just wait on a addon PCB coming for the skeet 1.2 it will be announced here first

ProgSkeet v1.2 -> ProgSkeet v1.1

@Sarah1331 , as promised:

How to turn a ProgSkeet v1.2 into a v1.1 such that it works thread here: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=48799

Tested the dumping and programming of a single NAND: Worked.

TBD
1) Testing dumping and programming of a NOR.
2) To downgrade my NAND based PS3.

Notes
Yes, not a simple exercise to convert the v1.2 to a v1.1... some tricky wiring and the need for a USB driver IC. BUT if everyone happy to solder fine wires from their 'Skeets to 0.5mm pitch flash IC's, then this conversion should be well within your capabilities.

Andy

actually i used latest winskeet
lastest 1.2 bitstream 2121
nand clip
and power from skeet to adapter board
and used winusb driver
dumped both nands on a sem-001 and a cok-002
also flashed both nands back with patched nands
worked ok
now working on testing the nor consoles

Ah! So you used SOLDERLESS NAND BitStream?!?

I wonder if this is the difference that ensures that my in-circuit NAND BitStream DOES NOT WORK. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Connected a NAND OK (Dual NAND, forget it), dumped it OK....

...But...

Poxy WinSkeet (including the version you refer to) just kept crashing every time I try to program. Tried it on Win XP and Win 7.

My v1.2, when set up as a v1.1 works fine though.

Go figure. You are lucky dude, for what ever reason!

im using win xp sp3 32bit
and an old dell d505 laptop with intel chipset
which i have used since i got v1.1 2 years ago
and now the 1.2 i got just for testing
